MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS LAW & ECONOMICS FORUM

CLEON Conferences & Communications (www.cleon.gr) organizes, in cooperation with the Hellenic Association of Risk Managers (H.A.RI.MA), the MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS LAW & ECONOMICS FORUM which will take place under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), on Wednesday 28 September 2022 in the Divani Caravel Hotel. The Forum will be coordinated by the journalist and lawyer Antonis Papagiannidis.

2021 was a record year in terms of the number and total value of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As), which, according to published estimates, exceed €12 billion in Greece. The size of transactions has tripled compared to last year and exceeds even the best year of the early 2000s. According to data of consulting firms that systematically monitor M&A transactions, in our country, from 2008 until 2020, the annual value of transactions ranged from €1 billion to €9 billion. This trend seems to continue in 2022 despite recent geopolitical problems.
