Maria graduated from Law School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2014. Afterwards, she participated in the post-graduate master’s degree course (LL.M.) of the Cardiff Metropolitan University, on the field of International Law with specialization in International Business. She has also obtained an MBA certificate in the London School of Economics. She is qualified in Athletic Law after pursuing relevant specialization from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She is a member of Athens Bar Association since March 2014 and member of our office since 2018. She has been legal expertise in United Nations, having dealt with issues of protection of human rights and international law.
Maria has extensive experience in the fields of civil, commercial and banking law where she has handled an extensive range of legal cases. She has focused on banking issues, granting of real estate and corporate loans, banking compliance, protection of bank clients and agreements covering all kinds of banking relations. She has also dealt with cases of contract law and commercial agreements and provides legal consultancy in international funds. She is experienced in criminal law civil law courts. She has also handled cases of sports law, athletic issues, athletes’ transcriptions and operation of football companies in international level.
She is also a Visitor Professor in Hellenic Police Officers Schools on the courses of Civil Procedure and International Law & Human Rights.
She has published articles in legal sites and publications, (Greek Law Digest, Synogoros).
